Other Types of Charter
Sunfish is available for many other types of
charter, not just for diving.
- Dolphin and porpoise watching trips. We run
regular trips to watch the Bottlenose Dolphins and Harbour
Porpoises that visit Torbay.
Other
exotic wildlife can also be seen on occasions. For example, basking
sharks, turtles and the fish the boat is named after, the Ocean Sunfish
has even been seen basking on the surface.
- Wildlife
and Bird spotting. Sunfish can be used as a stable platform for
viewing birds and wildlife. Get a unique view of the six
“feral” goats (Capra Hircus) that live on Berry Head. We can visit various locations within Torbay for viewing birds. Some of the birds that can
be seen are: Guillemots, Fulmars, Shags, Kittiwakes, Peregrine Falcons,
Kestrels, Puffins, Jackdaws, Housemartins, Meadow Pitpits, Swallows,
Chiffchaffs, Cirl Buntings, Whinchat, Herring Gulls to name but a few of
the 200+ species seen at Berry Head alone!

We are MCA category 3 coded to take 11 passengers, fully
insured and will carry all appropriate navigation and safety equipment to make your trips with us as safe as possible.
