    PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING YOUR TRIP, AS THEY WILL APPLY TO YOUR CONTRACT WITH US.

    Payment Conditions

    1. All passengers must pay in full before departure.
    2. Deposits are non-refundable.
    3. If payment is by cash, please bring the correct money.
    4. If payment is by cheque, this must have been received at least 10 days before departure date.

    General

    All instructions given by the Skipper/crew must be obeyed at all times.

    All passengers must not walk between the bottle rack & the console.

    The use of any of the boat's equipment is forbidden, unless instructed by the Skipper/crew or in an emergency situation.

    No personal GPS equipment maybe bought onboard without the Skipper's permission. Sunfish Charters and/or its agents take no responsibility for any damaged caused to equipment bought on board.

    Boat departure times will be advised at the time of booking.

    You must be ready to board the boat at least 15 minutes before departure time (tides wait for no one!).

    You are advised to telephone the Skipper the night before (7-9pm) departure on 07968-262421 to confirm your charter with us.

    Weather and sites/departure points.

    Boat trips are weather and tide dependant.  We reserve the right to change dive sites, departure points or times according to weather and operational requirements.  On occasions due to sea, weather or safety considerations, Sunfish Charters may cancel the trip with minimum notice.  In this instance your payment will be carried forward to your next booking.

    Your booking is accepted on the understanding that if you have booked for a specific site and the weather does not permit diving that location, but an alternative site is diveable, the dive will take place at the best available alternative, taking into account depth requirements in respect of divers’ abilities and prepared gas mixes.

    Dive Charters.

    Drysuit zips must be fully fastened before departure. Weight belts must NEVER be worn whilst the boat is underway.

    All equipment must be securely stowed.

    EVERY dive will require the use of an SMB (Surface Marker Buoy). All ascents must be via the shot line, DSMB or SMB as requested by the Skipper. If requested, SMBs must be used throughout the dive If requested, SMBs must be used throughout the dive.

    No one shall enter the water until the Skipper/crew has signalled him or her to do so. When returning to the boat pay attention to any instruction given by the Skipper/crew. Once back aboard, quickly stow equipment to leave the deck area clear and tidy for the next divers to re-board.

    At the Skippers request, last pair of divers down might be asked to free the shot weight or, deploy a lifting bag (supplied) to aid recovery of the shot.

    Neither Sunfish Charters or its agents will act as Dive Supervisors.

    All divers are responsible for their own diving.

    Sunfish Charters respectfully requests that artifacts are not removed from any wreck site.

    For those divers wishing to collect sea food, please note:

    ·        Only crab hooks WITHOUT “flattie stabbers” are      allowed onboard

    ·        Please bring a bucket for transportation of catch whilst      onboard

    ·        Respect local fishermen, and leave their lobster/crab      pots alone.

    ·        No undersize seafood or berried crabs/lobsters to be      taken.

    ·        Scallops cannot be sorted onboard.

    ·        Closed seasons/no-take zones will be adhered to.

    ·        No LOADED spearguns are allowed onboard.

    ·        All spears/harpoons MUST have protective covers.

    ·        Only take what you can eat (or there will be none      left!).

    All divers diving with Sunfish Charters must be aware of the hazards of diving and declare they have the training, skills, experience (except when under the supervision of their own diving instructor) and fitness to undertake any dives carried out from Sunfish.

    Divers should have no medical or other conditions that should preclude them from diving.

    Divers that book dives without a buddy might have to dive solo, if other divers onboard are not prepared to dive with them. Please be aware of this as diving solo contravenes the sports governing body (BSAC) guidelines.

    Other Charters

    Life jackets are to be worn at all times.

    Wet weather clothing to be worn if conditions dictate.
