"If you want
a good weekend diving, then try Sunfish
and Skipper Mike, the RIB is slightly wider
than normal which makes for a more comfortable
ride to the dive sites without knocking your
knees on the bottle rack. The RIB
is set up to make it easy to dive from and
also to get back on board, with extra handles
and longer ropes to help pull yourself in.
The skipper is very friendly and accommodating
both in advance in arranging trips and on
the day. Seascape dive club has dived
off Sunfish on many occasions in the last
12 months out of Brixham and Plymouth both
as chartering the whole boat and also from
booking spaces for small groups of individuals
and we keep coming back for more!"

"As usual there
was a lot of talk going around our club
about diving the Scylla and a total lack
of will to do anything about it. So I phoned
Mike and asked if he could take his new
boat (Sunfish) around to Plymouth for us
so we could dive the Scylla from there.
On the phone he
couldn't have been more helpful and put
my mind completely at ease which, given
it was a new boat and a new skipper to me,
was fantastic. When we arrived and loaded
up it was obvious that we had plenty of
room and that the RIB had been very well
thought out. The safety brief was comprehensive
and clear and the boat is very well equipped
to deal with just about any emergency with
all of the usual stuff being present.
One thing you notice
about the Sunfish is its speed and stability
and even though there was a fair chop we
managed to get to Whitsand Bay very quickly.
The dive brief was excellent as was
the clarity of how the disembark and embark
of the RIB would take place.
All in all Mike
is an exceptional skipper who knows the
waters around this part of the South coast
very,very well. His boat is, in all probability,
the best RIB I have ever dived from (yeah
I know, but we have all been in some dogs
in our time) and all at a price that
won't mean a second mortgage!! I have now
left the club with which I dived the Scylla
but I know that that my now ex-club has
booked Mike on several more occasions and
I will be using him again shortly. If you
haven't tried using Sunfish Charters you
don't know what you are missing, give it
